Hi! I’m so glad to report that I’m feeling more consistently better, motivated, creative, relaxed, and okay. After many weeks of so many two day stints where I couldn’t get out of bed, being depressed, making myself sick, neglecting my self-care, and feeling bogged down by the pandemic on top of my own personal stuff, I made an effort to start by cleaning up the clutter that was really bothering me. I can’t tell you how big of a difference it made in my mindset! Not seeing piles in my office and in my bedroom has really helped me. I definitely agree that a cluttered physical space represents a cluttered mindset. There’s still work to do, but focusing on my home environment has made a big improvement.

My financial issues are finally shaking loose. I’m making major breakthroughs and realizations in therapy that are helping to recognize patterns that have started in childhood and continued into as far as present day. I’m getting back into my Magical Daily Ritual, if it’s only tapping/EFT. I’m catching up on content. I even went out to grocery shop and did it in record time without having a panic attack! As a result of this, my relationship is less stressed and feeling lighter and happier than it has in a long time, and I feel very grateful for my life right now.

I still get very upset at the news, feel anxiety about people’s behaviors that I can’t control, and feel fear about what could possibly happen to the world, my loved ones, myself. All of it. I would love for this good feeling to stay, and I’m going to do everything I can for it to stay as consistent as possible, but I also know that my own mental health and the state of the world is making it difficult for all of us to do all the things, including feel okay consistently. I’m not manifesting feeling badly, but I’m okay with not feeling okay. I’m also okay with feeling okay and sharing when I feel good with you. I hope being transparent about my upsĀ and downs is helpful for you.

Today is the last day of the month, so in addition to the weekly Gratitude Train in the Uncustomary Babes Group (which is still 50% off!), I posted the Top Ten Things About April worksheet. Here is what I wrote to them:

I know it can be difficult to think about “highlights” during a pandemic, but the reason you’re here is because you’re ABLE to find perspective, practice gratitude, and look for love in life even (especially) when it’s difficult!

It’s okay if your Top Ten Things list for April looks different than February or your list from 6 months ago. It’s okay if they don’t involve interactions with other people. It’s okay if there aren’t events on the list. It’s okay if it’s “I felt good for three days in a row!”

What made you feel good this month? Everything is relative! What made you feel good this month will be different than last month and next month. Every day is a unique experience and we get to create it.

If you notice a feeling of imbalance (check out the Tarot Reading on the Temperance card/Taurus Season), there doesn’t need to be judgment. This is just a call to action for you. What do you want to do a little differently next month? How can you spend five minutes every day making your life feel good?

Also, if you have an Uncustomary Planner, NOW is the time to update it! It’s okay if you missed pages. And you can still get your copy. This is actually an amazing time for my planner, because it’s not about planning your day, it’s about celebrating your life, the world, practicing self-care, and personal development! I will be sending out a May Bucket List alternative tonight or tomorrow at the latest to people who have the planner. If you need one let me know šŸ™‚

PS – Pencil me in for 2 PM EDT on Saturday May 2nd for an Instagram Live with Aurora Lady on Getting Out Of Your Own Way During A Pandemic!
