Happy November! I’m kind of bummed October is over, but all things must cycle out. The first day of this month is always kind of weird because people are still recovering from Halloween last night. We also had the clocks go back an hour last night so we got an extra hour of sleep partying in, but in my opinion it’s not worth it. Daylight Savings should be abolished because it’s stupid and everyone hates it.
My goal for last month was to get in more fun, and I did for the most part. November is back to work, though! If you’re looking for me, I’ll be writing my butt off for my first official e-course! You can sign up for more information here. I’m looking forward to a mid-month break with a trip to Miami to the We Love Colors headquarters, though! November is also NaNoWriMo, are you participating in that this year? I’d love to know! You can also celebrate Red Lipstick Day on the 11th, Use Less Stuff Day on the 19th, and Black Friday/Buy Nothing Day on the 27th, depending on your preference.
My top ten things for October: + Visiting Summers Farm with Joe + Playa Del Fuego for the second time + Halloween and pumpkin carving parties + Monarch Workshop + Working on my e-course + Eating better and losing weight + Watching The Goonies outside at AVAM with Joe + Road trip + Waking up to a sparkly surprise on my front stoop + Not dying when the giant tree in my front yard fell
Your turn!
What were your favorite things about last month? What are you looking forward to this month?
I can’t believe it’s November already! Like, WUT?
I can’t wait for the holidays to hurry up and get here – it’ll be the first year in the nearly three we’ve been together that my gf and I actually get to spend them together – and then I’ll be on to begging Summer to get back here. HA!
Happy November!
That’s so exciting! I’m happy for you, babe. 🙂
I love these posts, it really focuses on the good. I love these posts so much I have also taken to having this sort of write up once a month to reflect on all the good things that happened and looking forward to what is to come.
I’m really glad to hear that! It really helps. I actually fell off the map with my happy journal for about two months and I recently started again and already feel a ton better than I did. It’s absolutely insane the affect it has on mental state.
