Every month, I take you on a tour of the street art in Baltimore. This month, I’m going to share some of the magnificent work I saw in Brooklyn during my trip to New York.
I enjoyed Brooklyn much more than Manhattan, as I expected I would, and a big part of that was how prevalent the street art was. There must be a mural for every street in that city. If I had been there on a weekend, I would have done one of the walking tours of street art in Williamsburg.
It’s not just murals, though. There’s beautiful wheat pastes, great but simple spray paint tags, and stickers.
I couldn’t not add to the scene myself! Stay tuned for a disposable camera installation I did while I was there.
Which one of these is your favorite?
This makes me miss Brooklyn so much! I need to go back! I love how much art is happening there – it’s so wonderful!! I love the little heart popsicle and those cute little robots! 🙂 So fun. I can’t wait to see your installation!
Aw, you should go back! There really is an absurd (and wonderful) amount of art happening there… in all mediums.
