I’m right there with you. I can’t believe 2016 is over, and I’m also incredibly glad. I really can’t remember a December when what feels like the majority of everyone is ready to symbolically turn the page to the next year. I’m excited. I think we can make 2017 fantastic despite whatever is thrown at us.

I want to take a minute to sincerely thank you for sticking with me this year. I appreciated the support you gave me during the high highs like publishing my first book, and I appreciated the support you gave me during the low lows like when I was in my car accident or got diagnosed with Bipolar. This year has been more of a rollercoaster for me than past years, but I can’t discount the good things that happened just because of the bad. Excellent strides were made. Foundations were laid. Meaningful conversations were had, delicious foods were eaten, and fun places were explored. I’m grateful for the little things this year more than ever.

If you haven’t taken my end of the year survey yet, I’d really appreciate it. It’s just ten questions, and it will help me get feedback to make Uncustomary an even better place in 2017 than it was in 2016. I’m really grateful for your feedback.

I also want to remind you of a few things since this is the last Happiness post of the year!

  • If you want to participate in the Baltimore Scarf Abandonment project, the deadline for me receiving scarves is in about two weeks! I’d LOVE more scarves to help the homeless stay warm, so if you have any to donate please consider it!
  • If you haven’t gotten a free magical Olaf for yourself yet, there’s just like two left so grab ’em while you can!
  • Speaking of plushies, there’s still room for you if you want to send your favorite stuffed friend to the best party of their lives!
  • Hop on over to Instagram to share your Top Three Things from 2016
  • My signature e-course on self-love is still only $30 till the end of the month!
