First of all, I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming positivity from yesterday’s post. The comments posted are just a fraction of the beautiful words I received, and I really want to thank you for your support and thoughts whether they were public or private.
The beginning of last week started off in a funk. I was depressed when I learned the truth about a long running lie, and then I was even more upset when I was yelled at for rectifying the situation in the only ethical way. Regardless, the first few days were spent pouty, moping. One of the things that brought me out of my funk was coming home to a beautiful bouquet of yellow flowers covered in gold glitter from the persistently amazing April. If that (and a card full of confetti!) isn’t enough to get you out of a funk, I don’t know what is!
Sunday I drove two hours to my mom’s new house in Delaware. I had a good time exploring abandoned barns and traipsing around open fields, feeling the crunch of leaves, plants, and berries under my glittery flats. Driving down long country roads while listening to Mumford & Sons is not a bad way to spend a Saturday!

Now you go! What’s on your happiness list this week?
mumford and sons can always make one fell better as can those flowers ( and that table of fun and yumminess)
Right?! Mumford & Sons are a beautiful soundtrack for living. Thanks so much for commenting, Linda! I hope you had a happy week.
