One of my larger projects for Fun A Day was yarnbombing a really wide tree. The tree appealed to me while I was driving because of the charming little white gate that surrounds it. It had a lot of lumps and it was difficult to include the branches, but I’m really glad I added color to this little area. You can find it at the corner of Gay and Fayette Streets, next to a mechanic shop.I like yarnbombs like this, because I can use a whole bunch of different yarns. Color splash everywhere!I’ve done one more big tree like this one, which you can see here. I drove past this on Saturday, so it’s still up! Which is awesome. It’s been two months! ๐
