I adore the Snail Mail Game Show. I love getting submissions from all over where creative people respond to the same prompt in completely different ways! For Round 6, all the participants received a paper with the outline of a pumpkin and were instructed to decorate it however they wanted. The only rule is it had to reach me via snail mail! Round 6 Submissions
Artist: Amanda Just
Mixed media for the win! Washi tape, fringed tissue paper, and a pom pom nose! This guy is awesome.
Adoring the layered collage of leaves that made its way all the way from Germany!
Artist: Caitlin H.
Caitlin calls this one “Flower Power” and I think that’s a perfect name for her colorful masterpiece.
Artist: Olivia Arrow
Olivia was inspired by sugar skulls and I think we should probably start decorating all pumpkins this way.
Artist: Lisa S.
Glitter on glitter on glitter! Can you imagine if pumpkins were naturally glittery? That would be incredible.
Such detailed work on the spider typography and design! Gorgeous.
Artist: Tranifer Lovely
Feminist Jill-O-Lantern. Tranifer continues to kill it!
And the winner is…. Olivia, with the sugar skull pumpkin! She will receive a special surprise in the mail from me!
