The Snail Mail Game Show is better than ever! For Round 11, the participants received a piece of paper with the outline of a tree and the prompt, “If you could create the ultimate Tree Of Life, what would it look like?”
Artist: McCall
This black and white tree has such gorgeous patterns. The best part is the trunk of the tree, which is actually metallic and shimmery!
Artist: Eve Butler
Eve says her tree “would be womanly, shaped with the proportions of one who has borne children and put their needs above her own. Branches that reach to the sky, ever seeking ways to bring a bit of heaven down to the earth for those she brought into being… her be-loved. Rooted in the earth. Evergreen. Ever being.”
Artist: Jana W.
Jana says her tree of life “would be pure good. It would be full of stickers, stamp[s, stationery, envelopes, and letters for all – stories and words of love, life, happiness, sorrow, hope, and peace.”
Artist: Sioux-Zb
Sioux created a beautifully intricate design, including life growing inside it and a tree with a reproductive system resembling our own. What do you think the circle in the center represents?
I love these trees, babes. I love the woman-power you’ve instilled inside them, and the careful thought you’ve put into their creation and purpose. It was really hard to choose a winner (as always).
And the winner of Round 11 is… Jana! I will be sending her a prize via snail mail.
