Self-Love Prompts is a series I started after creating a list of 50 self-love writing prompts. People like you select a prompt that speaks to them, work on it, and send me their response so I can share it with you guys!
We’re continuing on this journey with the wonderful Nina of I’m A Paper Nerd. She’s an amazing artist, and I’m in love with the art journaling she did as a response to the prompt of “What would your teenage self love about you now?”
What would your teenage self love about you now?
● I’ve calmed down.
● I’ve found my calling and it doesn’t fit in an elevator speech or a tweet.
● My makeup is infinitely more on point.
● I’m actually a great mom.
● I’ve embraced my inner (and outer) weirdo. As it turns out everyone’s a weirdo.
● I like my nose.
● I didn’t get a butterfly tattoo.

I generally am not a fan of art journaling (no offense!), but this particular spread is AMAZING. I love the aesthetic, the prompt and the responses. So, so good!
That’s okay! We all have different interests. 🙂 I’m glad you like this, though! Nina is an AMAZING artist.
Aw thank you so much, Kelsey. 🙂 I wasn’t big on art journaling either until I saw a bunch of different styles and realized it can be anything you want it to be. I treat it mostly like a regular journal or diary, but with images. 🙂 I’m such a blabber mouth and it’s just quicker to express myself with images. Again, thanks so much. 😀
