I know it’s easy to compare me to Mary Poppins. We have the same name, carry extra-large bags, and fly on umbrellas, but that’s not all. I’m sure you’re familiar with the song “Spoonful Of Sugar“, but what I bet you didn’t know is that Mary Poppins doesn’t take any medicine herself. Well, not any that you’d need sugar for. Mary Poppins and I follow a very strict regiment of consuming 5 ml of glitter, every night.
Glitter medicine is what keeps me going. It’s where I get my strength, enthusiasm, and creativity from. Mary Poppins knew she needed a little glitter to sing “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” inside of a chalk drawing, and now you know the secret as well.
Are things feeling dull? Add some glitter!
Things you can add glitter to for instant enhancement:
+ a hairstyle
+ a greeting card
+ a pineapple
+ your skin, nails, or make-up
+ a party
+ a beard
+ anything you wear
+ your car’s air vents
+ a pumpkin
+ light bulbs
+ a drawing of a unicorn/all art
+ the ceiling (especially if it later falls)
+ balloons
+ any photo
+ your feet
+ the chair you sit in
+ life
Don’t forget to take your medicine. Come fly with me!
I do love glitter but since I work in retail I tend to get a little sick of it this time of year when it is on everything and sticks to things I don’t want it to stick to. Working in retail has ruined a lot of things for me in December and every other day of the year. Ugh, I need a new life.
Today’s to do list: throw glitter all over life.
I’m right there with you!
Haha this makes me want to do a mary poplins photo shoot instantly & throw glitter all around me 😀
