#97 on my 100 Ways To Be Creative list is to go to a party store with no intention of having a party. I went to the new Party City near my house. You may not know that when I was 18 I worked at a Party City with Matt. I worked there less than a year, but it was probably the only job before my current job that I actually enjoyed. I like being surrounded by balloons and colorful things, like confetti and themed toys.
It’s definitely somewhat strange to go back to a place you used to work, but I really do like buying balloons for no reason. And the party store is one of the best places to do that. Right now there’s a lot of Valentines, Chinese New Year, and St. Patrick’s Day stuff out. Also Mardi Gras. I think I need to get a really great mask this year.Anyway, here are some pictures I took while being in a pretty happy store.
