#62 on my 100 Ways To Be Creative list is to do the Macarena to a song you don’t know how to dance to. First, I would like to say that I think it’s a travesty that “Macarena” isn’t recognized by spell check. Get it together, universe. Now that that’s out of the way, I can tell you that the 90’s were awesome, and if you don’t believe me, I can prove it to you.
I chose a song by the B-52’s, called “Private Idaho“. I’m sure most of you are very familiar with their music, especially things like “Love Shack”. They have a very distinct sound, and as much as I love bopping my head to “Rock Lobster”, I have a bit of difficulty figuring out how to dance to the beats they make.
I figured this was a perfect song for this creative challenge. To up the ante, I put on a short dress, pajama shorts (that are easily seen underneath), yellow rain boots, and I teased my hair really big. I’m kind of far away in the video, so you can’t tell how big my hair is, and you don’t get to see the rain boots at all. But I had to mention them.
So here we go, some footage of me crazily dancing (in the rain) to the B-52’s, but doing a dance move that was created for another specific song.

I love you all.
