#94 on my 100 Ways To Be Creative list is to create the boundaries of where your ideal state would be on a map, name it, and what the state would offer.
Earlier today, I shared that Michelle and I had an art picnic. In addition to working on mail and art, we decided to create our ideal states. There’s a lot of ways you can do this activity. For example, you could use a map of the United States and ignore all existing boundaries, so you can draw your own. I decided that I would circle my favorite parts of the country, cut them out, and paste them together.
I call it Wonderhoma. It includes places I’ve been, places I’ve lived, and places I know I’d love. Among those are: Southern California, Chicago, Maryland, New Orleans, and New York City.

Wonderhoma would offer a large artistic community, lots of city living, the weather of living on the west coast, multiple beaches, colorful homes, and interactive neighbors.

(For the record, this is my freehand drawing of the country I live in. I’m clearly talented.)
Also, check out what Michelle did for her ideal state!
Just focus on the blue. The blue is what’s important.
What would you include in your ideal state?
