Self-Love Prompts: When Does Your Body Feel Physically Happy?
Self-Love Prompts is a series I started after creating a list of 50 self-love writing prompts. People like you select a prompt that speaks to them, work on it, and send me their response so I can share it with you guys!
Today, we’ve got Vanessa Dans Mon Crane continuing the series by answering the prompt, “When does your body feel physically happy?”
When Does Your Body Feel Physically Happy?
My physical body feels happy when I actually feed it things that are good for it. I have always been an emotional eater. I have had eating disorders in the past and am always oscillating between feeling good about myself and feeding the inner ogre. So I’ve been taking matters in my own hands and embarking on a self-love journey thanks to Mary’s prompts.
The first thing want to realize is that when I eat stuff that is healthy and good for me my body is happy! When I eat stuff that is good for the emotional ogre, I feel tired and bogged down.
So I want to feed my body more of what makes it strong and energized. I want to move more, dance longer and feel stronger. I want to be here and happy for my children, for my husband but first and foremost for me. And that is where it starts.
