I thought it would be cool to yarnbomb something in an area that is designated for street art. There is a place in Baltimore called Graffiti Alley. A lot of cities have something similar. You should look up if you do! It’s basically just an area that is covered top to bottom in graffiti of all types. I’ve posted about it before a few times.
The thing is, graffiti on walls isn’t the only type of street art! In fact, it’s not even my favorite kind. 🙂 So I wanted to incorporate a three dimensional type of street art into the area.
I think I’m going to do some more on the poles at a later time. I’m thinking in bright yellow. 🙂 Although, I do like how you probably won’t notice this until you’re up close to it.
The yarn from this bomb is pretty wonderful close up. Here’s a better look. It reminds me of a sparkly winter wonderland.
