Some Important things to Know about CBD Oil for Cats

The health of every living thing is important. Humans have through scientific developments, been able to develop ways of keeping themselves healthy. This ability is also applied in taking care of all that is under their care.

For this reason, people are able to keep their livestock and pets healthy, active and useful to them. However, it is not always that one can find medication that can serve multiple purposes in both humans and animals. Thus, whenever such medication is discovered, it is worth taking a proper look at. An example of such a medication is the CBD oil.

If you want to try using CBD oil, you can get some coupon codes at Healthcanal.

What Is CBD?

Scientists have discovered that the cannabis plant is made up of many components. The two major components that make up this plant are the Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC for short) and Cannabidiol (CBD for short).

Now cannabidiol or CBD is the non-psychotic (non-psychotic means that it doesn’t get you high) extract from the cannabis sativa and it has many health benefits. It is now used in making oils and other edibles that can be taken and ingested by the body. Tetrahydrocannabinol, on the other hand is the other component that gets users high. You can read more about this here.

The discovery of the health benefits of cannabidiol has led to a massive rush in the market for CBD oil and other cannabidiol based products. For this reason, it is now a very trendy and popular thing to purchase and companies are now making more cannabidiol based products for consumers.

However, it has also been discovered that cannabidiol is effective in all mammals. This is because all mammals have an endocannabinoid system (ECS) which consists of Endocannabinoids, enzymes and receptors. The endocannabinoid system has been found to play a great role in influencing the body functions of all mammals.

It also follows logically that cannabidiol being good for them, should be available for their treatment. This has resulted to a further increase in the demand for cannabidiol in the market with products specifically tailored for specific mammals. One such product is the CBD oil for cats.

Of What Benefit Is CBD For Cats?

Cannabidiol has been found to be of huge health benefit to cats. This is because it can be used to handle many health challenges that they encounter. It is even important to note that more research needs to be conducted to really discover the full benefits of cannabidiol. Some of the known benefits are:

  1. For Stress Relief: While stress and anxiety attacks are not as common in cats as they are in dogs, they still do occur. They also do suffer from separation anxiety and hemp oil helps to reduce these stress symptoms in their body making them more relaxed and calm.
  2. It is Anti-inflammatory: The symptoms of inflammations include swelling, stiffness and general body pain. This might also occur as a result of a surgical procedure that your pet underwent. Aside helping with inflammations, this hemp is able to help quicken the process of recovery for your pet.
  3. It is A Dietary Supplement: Again aside from any health condition that you may be trying to cure them from, you can equally just make it part of their regular diet. It will definitely help to improve their general health and wellbeing.
  4. It Gives Relief From Pain: CBD oil is very well known for its ability to give relief from pain. It is said to be more effective than most analgesics. So it can be used to handle and get relief from joint pain, arthritic pains and any other type of pain that your pet may be experiencing.
  5. It Gives Relief From Digestive Problems: Your cat may be experiencing some digestive problems like the irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)or any other gastrointestinal issues. This hemp oil is both preventive and also curative for these conditions. It also helps to improve their general appetite and health. Does CBD Oil Have Any Side Effects On Them?

Some Important Things To Know About CBD Oil For Cats | Uncustomary

It can safely be said that there are no harmful elements in the composition of the CBD oil. It has to be admitted though, that there is need for more research into their various properties for better clarity on the subject matter. The only time it is harmful is when it is exposed to great heat; this makes it to produce peroxide which is very harmful to your cat.

This does not and should not make you to overlook the place of your veterinary doctor. As a matter of great importance, you should consult your veterinary doctor before adopting any treatment regimen for your pets in general. This is because each pet is unique thus, what might have been effective for one might not produce the same results or be effective for another.

Things To Look For In A Product That You Want To Purchase

It has to be noted that due to the boom in the market due to the demand for cannabidiol products, a lot of products are out there in the market that are of low quality. For this reason, care should be exercised when about to make a purchase in the market for CBD for cats as it can be quite easy to be deceived. You should ensure that:

  • It is GMO (genetically modified organisms) free
  • It is organic
  • It is third party tested

Conclusion

It is always a sad and painful thing to watch your beloved pet go through pain because of one health condition or the other. The feeling gets worse when the options that you have so far tried have proven ineffective.

CBD oil is an alternative that is becoming a favorite resort for many. It is an option that you should try.

In Columbia, Maryland, there’s a former grocery store that has been transformed into a department store for mythical creatures, time travelers, and intergalactic tourists.

It’s called DoodleHATCH.

You can groom a unicorn, visit an intergalactic space station, climb onto a giant’s bed, meet guinea pigs, explore an artist’s studio, and discover approximately a million other things that somebody actually sat down and made.

It’s a nonprofit interactive art museum, a community project, an educational resource, and one of my favorite places I’ve ever discovered.

And it could be demolished as part of a proposed redevelopment of the Long Reach Village Center.

But there’s still an opportunity to help.

You don’t need to donate money. You don’t need to live in Maryland. And you don’t need to know anything about zoning laws.

You can start by writing an email.

🚨 Here's what's happening

Developer Columbia Concepts has proposed redeveloping the Long Reach Village Center in Columbia, Maryland.

The proposal would replace existing buildings with new housing, recreational facilities, and other development.

Unfortunately, that puts a whole collection of existing community resources at risk of being demolished, including:

  • DoodleHATCH Interactive Art Museum
  • Maryland Fashion Institute
  • A makerspace used for community education
  • Local restaurants, shops, and service businesses
  • Early childhood education and community programs
  • A 140-foot-long mural created by approximately 100 community members

This isn’t just about losing a fabulous museum. It’s about losing an entire collection of places that people have built, supported, and relied on.

And there’s another possibility!

🌈 Meet The REALM

Lee Andersen, the founder of DoodleHATCH, and her nonprofit ManneqART want to preserve the existing community resources and transform the village center into an arts and culture destination called The REALM.

Imagine a place where artists have studios, children have room to explore, students can learn creative skills, people can attend performances, and local businesses continue serving their neighbors.

There are plans for a performing arts space, more opportunities for artists, and a Witches Kitchen that might serve you a horrible-disgusting breakfast.

Which, personally, I think sounds promising.

The people behind DoodleHATCH are gathering support to oppose the developer’s zoning proposal and advocate for The REALM.

And they’d love your help.

💌 How to help in about two minutes

If you live in Howard County, Maryland

If you’re 18 or older, DoodleHATCH is asking eligible county residents to visit the museum and sign their petition in person.

📍DoodleHATCH Interactive Art Museum

8775 Cloudleap Court, Unit 101
Columbia, MD 21045

⏱️ Museum hours: Friday–Sunday, 10 AM–5 PM.

And while you’re there, I highly recommend exploring the museum. Bring someone who needs a reminder that being an adult doesn’t mean you have to stop enjoying ridiculous things.

If you don't live in Howard County

You can still help!

Subject: Please Protect DoodleHATCH and Support The REALM

Hello,

I’m writing in opposition to Columbia Concepts’ proposed redevelopment and zoning amendment for the Long Reach Village Center (ZB 1132M), and in support of The REALM.

I believe communities need places where creativity, imagination, and play are actively encouraged.

DoodleHATCH is an extraordinary example of what can happen when artists and community members are given room to create something that doesn’t fit into an ordinary commercial space.

Places like this are rare. They encourage people of all ages to experiment, learn, explore, and connect with one another.

I support preserving DoodleHATCH, the Maryland Fashion Institute, the existing community resources, and the vision for The REALM.

Thank you for collecting these messages and advocating for the creative community.

🐹 Wait. What exactly is DoodleHATCH?

I’m so glad you asked.

DoodleHATCH is an interactive art museum in Columbia, Maryland, created by artist, designer, and professional generator of wildly ambitious ideas, Lee Andersen.

The museum is designed as a pretend department store for mythological creatures, time travelers, and galactic tourists.

There are dozens of installations, and unlike most museums, you’re encouraged to touch things, explore, and participate.

There’s also an artist’s studio full of fabric and handmade garments, workshops, special events, birthday parties, free books, and opportunities for local artists to share their work.

The museum welcomes families and children, but adults are absolutely allowed to enjoy themselves, too.

And the woman behind it has spent decades bringing creativity into the community through fashion, festivals, education, and public art.

I discovered DoodleHATCH in 2020 and loved it so much that I started volunteering.

I’ve been back multiple times, and there are still things I haven’t seen.

That’s part of what makes it special. You can keep discovering things because people keep creating them.

You don't have to live near DoodleHATCH to care about it.

There are Merriment Makers everywhere.

People turning empty buildings into art spaces. People organizing parades. People teaching kids how to sew, paint, dance, or build things. People putting enormous amounts of time into projects that make their communities more interesting.

Sometimes they’re running nonprofits. Sometimes they’re working out of their garages. Sometimes they’re making something weird in a strip mall that you might drive past a hundred times without realizing what’s inside.

I hope you’ll help protect DoodleHATCH.

And I hope you’ll look around your own community, too. Visit the strange little museum. Go to the local art show. Find the person who makes giant puppets or organizes an absurd annual festival. Spend your money at the independent shop with the handmade things.

There are people everywhere creating reasons for us to be curious about being alive.

I’d like them to be able to keep doing that.

Help save DoodleHATCH. Help protect The REALM. Help keep the world interesting.
