Have you ever heard of dead drops? They’re a really cool medium of interactive street art. Essentially, it’s an installed USB port which you can plug your device into, and download whatever is on it. You can use this site to see if there are any near you! (They’re all over the world!) I’d be curious to hear about your experience with one.

I was recently gifted fifteen free basic flash drives on lanyards. I decided to upload a bunch of happy and inspirational images to them as well as a little word document introducing myself and my mission. Then I took them to the streets!

I hung most of them around downtown Baltimore, by the Inner Harbor. It was more difficult than I thought to find things that provided a hanging surface!

Here are some of the images that I put on the flash drives, but in collage form. If you’ve been with me for a while, you’ve probably seen all of them at some point. But, it’s still really happy and colorful to see them all mashed together like this!

This audio clip was also included on the flash drive, which has been something that has been inspiring to me for a while now. I hope you can find something happy in this post, and that you are now inspired to go find a dead drop of your own!
