In 2013 I flew to Texas to go to The Blogcademy, and valuable information about blogging wasn’t the only thing I got back on the plane with! I also got to meet awesome ladies, like Suzannah. She makes and sells amazing accessories in her shop, Neon Heartbreaker.
Her products make you feel like you’re living out every Lisa Frank dream you ever had in your adolescence. She makes hair pieces, jewelry, and appliques that are vibrant enough to come to life — or at make least your outfit come to life! She incorporates glitter, iridescence, and bright neon color palettes into very well made accessories. And you’re going to love it.
I have three products from Neon Heartbreaker, and I love them all dearly. Obviously I’m a fan of dinosaurs and this bright pink glittery T-Rex necklace is completely brilliant.
These days, my favorite kind of accessory goes in my hair. I have bins devoted to bows, headbands, and fascinators and this kitschy donut headband is absolutely amazing. It’s squishy, and not too heavy that it hurts my head. The headband doesn’t have teeth so it’s super comfortable, and I feel like I could easily promote the Simpsons in this headband.
And my favorite of all these pieces is this the sparkly hand clip. It’s the right amount of cute and creepy, and I’m really into the way I can make it look like its fingers are pushing back my hair.
And look! You can even live your weird life in these accessories! Like open up grills with cobwebs!
