How To Get Amazing Teeth Like Celebrities | Uncustomary

Apart from having clear and young-looking skin, another thing that one could notice about celebrities is their pearly white and perfect set of teeth. Whether you admit it or not, there are times when you wonder how they get their sets or whether they had them naturally.

The truth is – most high-profile personalities today, especially those who are in entertainment and show business, resorted to various kinds of dental cosmetology. But, there are still famous individuals who were born with perfect sets of teeth, and you should not lose hope as with the right maintenance and treatment, you could achieve amazing teeth, too.

Here are some of the best tips and ways to get them:

  • Use Electric Toothbrush

Brushing twice or thrice a day is a must, even if you do not aspire to have the same set of teeth as celebrities. But, if you do, the best thing you could do is to brush your teeth using an electric toothbrush.

You could believe it or not but, these kinds of toothbrushes offer tons of benefits for your oral and dental health. Also, they offer advanced and innovative features that could really help improve the health and appearance of your teeth.

Unlike manual toothbrushes, the electric types can control the pressure of the brushing process. Moreover, the strokes are more efficient, making them much more effective to remove stains and plaque.

  • Floss Regularly

Regular flossing is another best way that you could do to achieve amazing teeth. It is worth noting that, even if you brush twice or thrice a day, there are sides and corners of your mouth that you would not be able to reach using a manual or electric toothbrush – and this is where flosses enter the scene.

With the right flossing process, you can ensure the utmost cleanliness of your teeth and gums. You can guarantee that no plaque will be left behind after brushing your teeth.

  • Tooth Whitening Kits

Stains and discoloration of the teeth are common dental problems. This happens due to many reasons, including the foods and drinks you consume on a daily basis.

While homemade teeth whitening recipes are convenient and easy to do, official teeth whitening kits and products from the market are more reliable. If you want to achieve an amazing set of teeth, like those from your favorite stars and celebrities, you should try using some of these kits under the supervision and recommendation of your dentist.

  • Bonding

When resorting to dental cosmetology, one of the best treatments you could have is teeth bonding. In this process, dental experts will choose a composite resin color that closely matches the color of your natural teeth.

Upon choosing, dentists will roughen the surface of the tooth or teeth and consequently pour the liquid that will ensure the attachment of the bonding agent. The expert then applies the composite resin and hardens it with the use of UV light.

This kind of treatment resolves dental issues like crooked, cracked, chipped, and discolored teeth.

  • Cosmetic Braces

Braces are the most common treatment that resolves many dental concerns. However, not everyone is a fan of the traditional braces as this impacts one’s confidence, as well as appearance.

In dental cosmetology, there are different types of braces that you can choose from. There is basically something for everyone other than when traditional braces are also offered. If your teeth aren’t that crooked, you can simply wear a spring retainer to fix a few teeth. You can also get clear, cosmetic braces that don’t show. But, since appearance plays a huge role in this aspect, these braces under this umbrella treatment are more reserved.

As it happens, cosmetic braces offer the same process, benefits, and output without worrying about the appearance. It is an alternative to clear aligner systems as they are close to being invisible.

  • Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are like teeth bonding but, the only difference is that the former is pre- and custom-made. In teeth bonding, the composite resin is applied to the surface of the teeth, with dentists using UV light to harden the material. On the other hand, dental veneers are thin, custom-made materials that will be attached to the surface of the teeth to cover all the imperfections.

Many celebrities resorted to having this dental cosmetology treatment to improve the appearance of their teeth and smile. But, among all the types, porcelain veneers are the most sought-after due to their longevity, quality, cost-efficiency.

Celebrities Who Had Dental Cosmetic Treatments

As mentioned, most celebrities today have already undergone various dental cosmetic treatments and surgeries. Some of these personalities include the following:

  • Emma Watson

Emma Watson is one of the young celebrities who have a perfect set of teeth. In fact, it is one of the striking physical attributes that complement well her looks and style.

But, little did most of her fans know that she used to have crooked teeth. Reports, later on, revealed that she had various dental treatments to improve the appearance and condition of her dental and oral health.

Amid filming the Harry Potter film series, Watson had braces. Afterward, she also got her teeth whitened and straightened, according to sources.

  • Niall Horan

Similar to the Harry Potter alum, One Direction star Niall Horan also wore braces to fix his dental concerns. As many would recall, the artist joined the X-Factor competition as a teen who has misaligned and crooked teeth.

Sources said that he wore braces to fix these problems. However, he later on resorted to veneers, which have since helped him achieve his gorgeous smile.

  • Emma Roberts

Another celebrity who is not shy of sharing about her dental concerns is Emma Roberts. The public first witnessed her on screen during her younger years. Through the years, many noticed that her teeth were not perfect.

She admitted this concern nearly a decade ago. While she completely accepted it, reports said that she had them straightened and whitened after a while.

Final Thoughts

Almost everyone experiences a few dental problems every now and then. But, with the right dental and oral hygiene habits, you could easily improve and maintain the optimum health of your teeth, gums, and mouth.

While this is the base tip among all to achieve an amazing set of teeth and smile, dental cosmetology offers innovative solutions, as well, that can revolutionize your dental and oral health. If you want to have some of these treatments, you must first consult with your dentist about it.

In Columbia, Maryland, there’s a former grocery store that has been transformed into a department store for mythical creatures, time travelers, and intergalactic tourists.

It’s called DoodleHATCH.

You can groom a unicorn, visit an intergalactic space station, climb onto a giant’s bed, meet guinea pigs, explore an artist’s studio, and discover approximately a million other things that somebody actually sat down and made.

It’s a nonprofit interactive art museum, a community project, an educational resource, and one of my favorite places I’ve ever discovered.

And it could be demolished as part of a proposed redevelopment of the Long Reach Village Center.

But there’s still an opportunity to help.

You don’t need to donate money. You don’t need to live in Maryland. And you don’t need to know anything about zoning laws.

You can start by writing an email.

🚨 Here's what's happening

Developer Columbia Concepts has proposed redeveloping the Long Reach Village Center in Columbia, Maryland.

The proposal would replace existing buildings with new housing, recreational facilities, and other development.

Unfortunately, that puts a whole collection of existing community resources at risk of being demolished, including:

  • DoodleHATCH Interactive Art Museum
  • Maryland Fashion Institute
  • A makerspace used for community education
  • Local restaurants, shops, and service businesses
  • Early childhood education and community programs
  • A 140-foot-long mural created by approximately 100 community members

This isn’t just about losing a fabulous museum. It’s about losing an entire collection of places that people have built, supported, and relied on.

And there’s another possibility!

🌈 Meet The REALM

Lee Andersen, the founder of DoodleHATCH, and her nonprofit ManneqART want to preserve the existing community resources and transform the village center into an arts and culture destination called The REALM.

Imagine a place where artists have studios, children have room to explore, students can learn creative skills, people can attend performances, and local businesses continue serving their neighbors.

There are plans for a performing arts space, more opportunities for artists, and a Witches Kitchen that might serve you a horrible-disgusting breakfast.

Which, personally, I think sounds promising.

The people behind DoodleHATCH are gathering support to oppose the developer’s zoning proposal and advocate for The REALM.

And they’d love your help.

💌 How to help in about two minutes

If you live in Howard County, Maryland

If you’re 18 or older, DoodleHATCH is asking eligible county residents to visit the museum and sign their petition in person.

📍DoodleHATCH Interactive Art Museum

8775 Cloudleap Court, Unit 101
Columbia, MD 21045

⏱️ Museum hours: Friday–Sunday, 10 AM–5 PM.

And while you’re there, I highly recommend exploring the museum. Bring someone who needs a reminder that being an adult doesn’t mean you have to stop enjoying ridiculous things.

If you don't live in Howard County

You can still help!

Hello,

I’m writing in opposition to Columbia Concepts’ proposed redevelopment and zoning amendment for the Long Reach Village Center (ZB 1132M), and in support of The REALM.

I believe communities need places where creativity, imagination, and play are actively encouraged.

DoodleHATCH is an extraordinary example of what can happen when artists and community members are given room to create something that doesn’t fit into an ordinary commercial space.

Places like this are rare. They encourage people of all ages to experiment, learn, explore, and connect with one another.

I support preserving DoodleHATCH, the Maryland Fashion Institute, the existing community resources, and the vision for The REALM.

🐹 Wait. What exactly is DoodleHATCH?

I’m so glad you asked.

DoodleHATCH is an interactive art museum in Columbia, Maryland, created by artist, designer, and professional generator of wildly ambitious ideas, Lee Andersen.

The museum is designed as a pretend department store for mythological creatures, time travelers, and galactic tourists.

There are dozens of installations, and unlike most museums, you’re encouraged to touch things, explore, and participate.

There’s also an artist’s studio full of fabric and handmade garments, workshops, special events, birthday parties, free books, and opportunities for local artists to share their work.

The museum welcomes families and children, but adults are absolutely allowed to enjoy themselves, too.

And the woman behind it has spent decades bringing creativity into the community through fashion, festivals, education, and public art.

I discovered DoodleHATCH in 2020 and loved it so much that I started volunteering.

I’ve been back multiple times, and there are still things I haven’t seen.

That’s part of what makes it special. You can keep discovering things because people keep creating them.

You don't have to live near DoodleHATCH to care about it.

There are Merriment Makers everywhere.

People turning empty buildings into art spaces. People organizing parades. People teaching kids how to sew, paint, dance, or build things. People putting enormous amounts of time into projects that make their communities more interesting.

Sometimes they’re running nonprofits. Sometimes they’re working out of their garages. Sometimes they’re making something weird in a strip mall that you might drive past a hundred times without realizing what’s inside.

I hope you’ll help protect DoodleHATCH.

And I hope you’ll look around your own community, too. Visit the strange little museum. Go to the local art show. Find the person who makes giant puppets or organizes an absurd annual festival. Spend your money at the independent shop with the handmade things.

There are people everywhere creating reasons for us to be curious about being alive.

I’d like them to be able to keep doing that.

Help save DoodleHATCH. Help protect The REALM. Help keep the world interesting.
