From bingo fun to movie marathon
With what Maryland has been experiencing lately – the rain, the snow, and the freezing weather – people often end up sulking at home. According to CBS Baltimore, “The pattern has been “active,” no doubt — and temperatures will remain below the seasonal averages for the next few days.” If this is the case, then I think it’s better to find ways on how you can be happy even on a cold winter day. Here are some suggestions on how you can be in a better mood:
Bingo Fun
This traditional game has come a long way – from being an elderly-centric game to an exciting yuppie-centric game. Bingo companies have started to reinvent the halls into a party zone and the websites into a hip game zone. Some even got the service of famous personalities to help them promote their bingo games – from Bingogodz’s resident caller Brian Blessed, who is famous for his Shakespearean roles to Bingo Boy’s celebrity callers Jennifer Love Hewitt and Paris Hilton. Instead of going to Bingo World, you can just throw your own bingo party at home – even if it’s just you and your family. To make it more fun, the winner can dare any of the losing players.
Movie Marathon
If you don’t have any budget to go on a holiday, then you can just imagine yourself in a warm place by watching films that have beach or tropical settings. Fall in love by watching romantic movies like the classic “Blue Lagoon” and the comedy “Just Go with It”. You can also see some of the hottest hunks in their trunks by watching “The Beach”, “Point Break” and “Blue Hawaii”. Avoid watching movies that will make you feel colder and more depressed like the survival drama “Alive” and “North Face”.
These are just two ways on how you can have fun even when it’s freezing outside. Can you please share more exciting activities with the other readers?
Movie marathon would be me, but Hubby can’t stand doing that. He’d rather take hot chocolate and drive up to our lot in Eden, which overlooks a lake and is surrounded by mountains. It’s wonderful, but I can only do that for so long.
