Monday was Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day. A couple years ago, I celebrated with a small “relaxation station” on a pole, and this year I decided to take it to the next level.

After ordering a giant roll of blue bubble wrap off Amazon, I took Nick with me to the city and we set out to cover a bus shelter with it. It ended up being a lot of work, and just as Nick said “Man, maybe we should have brought a third person…” an awesome stranger named Andrew asked what we were doing. Now, he wasn’t the first or the last person to ask what we were up to, but he was the only one who offered to help!

With Nick and Andrew’s help, we were able to transform a regular bus stop into a space where people waiting for their public transit could pass the time and relieve stress!

Thanks so much to these guys for helping me! I really hope that Baltimore enjoys their bubbles! And there’s a minute of video footage you’re welcome to watch, too!
