As I’ve mentioned, on Sunday, I got to go to the Postal Museum in DC. The Inverted Jenny stamp was re-released, and it turned into a giant party. I’ve never seen so many people in that museum, but it makes sense! Not only could you get first day release...

🎂 B*Witched Birthday Party - 1999 👩🏻‍💻 I got to u 🎂 B*Witched Birthday Party - 1999

👩🏻‍💻 I got to use the internet a lot earlier than my friends because even though I didn't have a computer at home, I was constantly at the library 📚 (it was my babysitter every weekend + summer).

I loved I could search for things I was interested in. When I was in 3rd, 4th, + 5th grades, one of my big interests was music. 🎶 I got every magazine that had posters of my favorites. I covered my bedroom walls with them, + Brian from BSB got a kiss every night. 💋

I researched anything I could about the singers and members of my favorite bands. 🖨️ I had binders for each one. I'd cut out articles, print out interviews + biographies, hole punch them, + slide them into three rings.

The years of 1998-1999 were strong B*Witched years for me. 🤩 There were twins! Red hair! Happy AND sad music about rollercoasters, postmen + big bad wolves with French phrases!

I asked my parents for a sleepover birthday party. 🎉 They said yes and asked what I wanted the theme to be, I said "B*WITCHED!"

They told me there weren't any B*Witched themed party supplies. 🙄 I told them that was ridiculous but it wouldn't stop me. I had ideas. 💛💜🖤 I got yellow everything with purple, black, and star accents. 🌟 I made my own decorations. 🖋️ I drew on balloons and a tablecloth with a sharpie, writing the names of their songs and drawing cats. 🎂 I went to the grocery store and got a yellow cake with yellow icing and asked the bakery lady to please write "B*Witched" in cursive with a star.

👕 At the time, all I wore was 3X T-shirts and stirrup leggings. One came with our Dare Devil vacuum and the other was from graduating DARE (which is what I chose to wear to my B*Witched party because it had purple accents).

None of my friends cared about B*Witched then or now. 🤷‍♀️ They didn't understand the them nor did they care. But I was so happy.

🔮 I loved hosting parties, making my own things, celebrating a theme, and wearing whatever I wanted then and I still love all those things now. 💛
