I made a 200-item Winter Bucket List ☃️ for people I made a 200-item Winter Bucket List ☃️ for people who don’t want to “survive winter”…they want to participate in it.

It’s cozy. It’s silly. 🙃 It’s a little unhinged.

There are rituals, dares, kindness missions, absurd tasks, and tiny ways to feel more alive when the days get darker. 🌇

Some ideas take five minutes. ⏰5️⃣

Some involve soup, snow, glitter, or googly eyes. 👀

All of them are here to remind you that joy doesn’t disappear in winter. 🧣 It just gets weirder.

If winter usually makes you feel flat, restless, or bored of beige coping strategies… 🏔️ this is for you.

🔗 Link’s where it always is (check out the printables section!) 📃

Save this for a future cold day.

❄️ Send it to someone who needs winter to feel less heavy.

Winter doesn’t have to beat you. ⛷️

You get to participate. 🧤

I haven’t stopped thinking about Wicked. 💚🧹 Espec I haven’t stopped thinking about Wicked. 💚🧹

Especially the part where Elphaba is like…
okay but what even are good deeds anymore?

She keeps trying to do the right thing.
Freeing the monkeys.
Fixing what she can.
Staying aligned with her ethics.

And it does not save her.
People still hate her.
The story about her never updates.

She’s still the villain.
Which honestly feels… familiar.

Here’s my possibly spicy take 🌶️
I don’t actually care why someone does a good thing.

If a house gets built for someone who needs it, I don’t care if it was for Instagram, taxes, clout, or guilt. The house still exists. The work still got done.

But
Where it gets tricky is expectations.

Kindness with a hidden demand for praise can turn into resentment real fast.
Which is why I think the bravest version of a good deed is the one you give like a gift to the wild.

No guarantee.
No applause.
No clean narrative.

Also… Elphaba never becomes wicked.
She’s labeled.
By (JUST) two people.

A headline.
A story repeated enough times to feel true.

One word can ruin a life.
Even if it’s wrong.

Wicked isn’t about turning evil.

It’s about staying good while being misunderstood.
And asking yourself…
aren’t you tired of needing to be strong?

💚🫧🧠🎭

“I went to a concert last night. I talked to new p “I went to a concert last night. I talked to new people. I didn’t have a single worry about what people were thinking of me…
I used to think community was bullshit. Now I know it’s everything.”

Autumn names something important here:

Self-love doesn’t stick when it lives alone.
It sticks when you see yourself reflected in others who feel like you.

Not quieter or smaller.
Just more YOU.
I’m literally here to act weird on purpose for the I’m literally here to act weird on purpose for the collective good.
💖🪩🐴 Sometimes feeling good isn’t logical. It’s pin 💖🪩🐴
Sometimes feeling good isn’t logical.
It’s pink. It’s glittery.
It involves a horse.

🧠
Your nervous system doesn’t care if it makes sense.
It cares if you feel alive.

🌈
If a mildly unhinged idea brings relief, joy, or a full-body yes…
that might be the medicine.

💫🤠
Follow the sparkle. Trust the weird.
You have to feel good to do good.

They told me it couldn’t be done. Never give up. They told me it couldn’t be done. Never give up.
Since today is Wreaths Across America Day, I wante Since today is Wreaths Across America Day, I wanted to share the wreath I made for Kennedy Kreiger’s Festival Of Trees! @kennedykriegerinstitute

I had never even heard of this event.

When my friend, Kendall, @cloudydaychronicles heard about my #11KActs of Merriment project, she thought this would be a good opportunity for an act, and she was right!

Going to this festival is a family tradition for her. And she not only told me about the festival, but gave me a wreath to decorate!

I decorated mine with tiny toys, in an I Spy theme.

I loved going early to drop it off, to see all the other Merriment Makers hard at work. Setting up hundreds of trees, wreaths, gingerbread houses, vendor booths, games, and more!

What a fun event that all goes to charity.

When I went to visit on Sunday, my wreath (and EVERY OTHER except 4! had sold!). And I also passed out almost 100 candy canes with cute notes to strangers (scroll back to find that video).

Can’t wait till next year!

💖🌈 The opposite of trauma is having fun. I believ 💖🌈 The opposite of trauma is having fun.

I believe that deeply.
AND.
I also believe this year proved something important.

🎄 Last year, this was me at the Mayor’s Christmas Parade.

Rainbow outfit.
Merriment goodies.
A sign that said “Take a picture with me!”
Pure joyful chaos.
📸💥 Very fun. Very aligned. Very me.

This year…

❄️🦵🏽💢 I didn’t go.
Endometriosis pain.
An angry knee injury.
Ice on the ground.
A body that very clearly said: not this time.

And listening to that?
💭 That was also having fun.

Just quieter, gentler, less visible.

Because if you burn yourself out chasing something that looks fun on paper…
😵‍💫📝 it’s not actually fun.

If you’re doing “fun” as a trauma response to people-pleasing…
🚨💔 that’s not fun either.

My motto still stands:
🦄 you have to FEEL good to DO good.

And sometimes feeling good means showing up loudly.

🎉🎺 Sometimes it means staying home, resting, and disappointing the imaginary committee in your head.

🛋️🫖 Both count.

That said… 🌱💛 if you’re in a season of healing, processing, rebuilding…

Fun STILL matters.

Not forced fun.
Not performative fun.
But the kind that nourishes your nervous system.
🧠💫

We need:

🎨 things that are actively enjoyable
🫂 things that connect us to other humans
🌊 things that don’t require bracing

And if you’re thinking,
“Wait… I actually don’t know what’s fun for me anymore.”

😬🤷‍♀️

You’re not broken. You’re just out of practice.
I’ve been there too.

Which is why I made a tiny, gentle class called Jumpstart Your Joy that helps you remember what feels good for you, using real research and zero shame.

It lives inside Positive Pulse with a whole library of supportive resources… 📚
but only if and when it feels like an exhale to explore.

No rush.
No proving.
No pushing.

🌈💗 Fun is medicine.

Rest is medicine.
Listening is medicine.
You get to choose what having fun looks like this season.
