Oh! And 🫧 Bubble Parade is Sunday @ 2:30.

@baltimore_cm @baltimoremuseumofart
I started the Bubble Parade in 2015 with 50 people I started the Bubble Parade in 2015 with 50 people in a 7-11 parking lot.

Since then, it’s been a lot of things: grassroots, full-on block takeovers, vendor collabs, costume contests, even renting porta-potties.

This year? It’s back to basics. ✨

No parade route. No festival. Just us. A half hour of music, dancing, and thousands of bubbles filling the street.

Because sometimes the simplest version is the most fun. 🫧

📅 Sunday, Sept 28

⛪ Outside St. Michael’s Ukrainian Church (across from Patterson Park)

🕑 2:30–3:00 sharp (flash mob style!)

Bring your wands, costumes, wings, bubble guns, and your inner child. Let’s blow joy into Baltimore together. 🌈

💛 Free + family-friendly. Donations welcome.
Something broke in me in June. The way when you c Something broke in me in June.

The way when you chop a really big tree over and over it will eventually fall down.

I felt hopeless and like my spirit was broken.

But this week, I kind of went full 360 with it.

Finally taking my own advice.

It doesn’t matter.
If nothing matters I make my own meaning.

Let’s do what feels good. See what happens.
I’ve decided I’m not “working” anymore. I’m just gonna do stuff and see what happens.

No more editing. Caring about “insights”, hashtags, when to post. Don’t care.

Having fun. Posting thoughts. Eccentric artist working in the middle of the night era.

Check back with me in a month to see if I am the same, can’t buy groceries, or am a sudden millionaire.

Can’t see there being any other logical outcomes. My life works in extremes and I am insane.

Gonna lean into my Trudy Weigel/Gary Busy era.
If you’re thinking… 😶‍🌫️ I feel HO If you’re thinking…

😶‍🌫️ I feel HOPELESS.
😿 I wanna GIVE UP.
🫥 I don’t have the energy for a ‘program.’
🙄 I’m tired of surface-level ‘mindset shifts’.
💔 I don’t believe or trust in anything right now.

YOU’RE  the person I made this for.

This is opt-in, choice-based, nervous-system aware. You can lurk, listen, or play, it’s all valid.

One of the most common things I’m hearing right One of the most common things I’m hearing right now is “I feel HOPELESS” and “I just wanna Give UP”.

You know when you’re life is falling… and it just KEEPS falling?

It’s not a clean break. Not just ONE thing. 😣

But that slow-motion unraveling where everything feels kind of… wrong.

💭 You’re exhausted but can’t sleep.
💭 You’re scrolling but not absorbing.
💭 You’re laughing at memes about wanting to disappear, but also kind of mean it.

You’ve tried gratitude lists and hydration and talking to a friend.

But it still feels like you’re ⛈️ underwater with a smile on. 🫠

No one talks enough about the middle part. 😵‍💫
The stretch after everything breaks and before you’ve figured out how to live again.

That’s why I made 🌥️ Everything Sucks… NOW What?

🐶 This week’s 11K Highlight: A DOG PARTY! 🥳

My new friend Kendall @cloudydaychronicles and her family came dressed in their best dog digs (paw prints, Bluey, and even the Dogfather). 🐾 Her kids wanted to throw a dog party at the park, so we set up right outside the dog park in Patterson Park. 🏞️

🎖️ We handed out silly awards like “pawfect” and “best pup.”
🍗 They shared chicken jerky treats.
🫧 Alma + Max shouted “DOG PARTY!” while blowing silly noisemakers.
🖍️ I chalked “Good Dogs Sit Here” as a photo spot.
📝 And we put up a poster asking people to share what they love about dogs (yes, “hot dogs” made the list). 🌭

Something that stood out to me: 💖

Having kids with me made people so much more likely to join in. 🚸 And while that was VERY fun and effective, I also dream of a world where anyone can throw a dog party solo and it feels completely normal. 🎈 That’s what the 11K project is all about; making joy, kindness, and silliness part of EVERYDAY life for EVERYONE.
