Our second month into the new tradition of an Uncustomary Babe Pet Of The Month, and I’m loving it! New to the idea? Basically, every (other) month, I will pick a different animal, find out their interests, and mail them a package and membership card, making them an honorary Uncustomary Babe Member! The only catch is you have to take a picture of your pet with the card when you get the package, and hopefully a couple more so I can do I post like this one to share it with everyone! 🙂 — This is only available to Uncustomary Babe Members.
For July, I chose Kiki, who is Deidre’s cat. She’s about 10 months old at eats for three, but burns it off because she has a ton of energy! I was told she’s been caught doing a lot of parkour off the furniture and the other pets in the family. She also has an affinity for plastic cutlery (which won my heart, because my cat, Bug, loved that, too).
She pretends she’s a dog like her big sisters, and loves to steal human food including crab rangoons (again, after my heart). She’s super intrigued by the summer birds and bugs she’s getting to see for the first time, so I wanted to make sure I incorporated those kinds of toys into the mix.
She also loves string and feather toys, the colors pink and purple, mice filled with cat nip, drinking from the sink, and running through tunnels. Apparently that was her favorite gift that I got her! I’m so glad I was able to squeeze it into the package, it was a tight fit!
Apparently her sister, Lola, stole the bird toy. But sharing is caring. Isn’t she cute with her Uncustomary Babes Membership card?
Thanks to Deidre for all the photos, and even the video she was able to capture that you can check out below!
