❣️ This Week’s 11K Community Feature is from ❣️ This Week’s 11K Community Feature is from Desmond!

Desmond is a fantastic Merriment Maker. 😀 He is also a photographer. And he loves going to as many events as he can to experience them and document people having a great time, being themselves, and having a great time. 🎉

He also is unlikely to be in front of the camera. But he makes sure that he does document himself once a week, as part of an ongoing project called 👑 “Tiara Tuesdays”.

As part of Tiara Tuesdays, he: ⤵️

💛 1) Wears a tiara all day (even at his very professional/government job) 🫅🏽

💛 2) Carries around tiaras in his bag all day 🎒

💛 3) Takes a photo of himself wearing his tiara 📸

💛 4) Whenever someone compliments or asks him about his tiara, he will tell them about his project and then offer them one of his extra tiaras as a free gift! 🎁

This is just one of the many ways Desmond is a Merriment Maker in Baltimore, Maryland, and I’m proud to call him my friend. 🤩

It’s a great concept, but how do we DO IT? 🤷‍♀️

I dedicated week 3 of ESNW to how to APPLY theory to tangibility. 🛠️ How to actually DO practices.

Here’s a taste. 👽

What have you done and plan to do?
This time of year, people seem so skittish about w This time of year, people seem so skittish about what is “appropriate” and “inappropriate” for their current age to celebrate Halloween. 👻🎃

Are you a year too old to go trick-or-treating? Is wearing costumes just for babies? Should adults celebrate Halloween in any other way than doing a pub crawl in a $10 accessory you’ve decided is a full costume?

Don’t get me wrong, if costumes aren’t your thing and you’re genuinely not interested in Halloween I’m not saying you have to celebrate it. I’m just saying you shouldn’t NOT celebrate it just because you think you’re too old.

Halloween, costumes, games, and fun aren’t just for kids. They’re for anyone who wants to take part. Don’t let your chronological age determine your behavior, especially not your happiness. Do what you want.

So go trick-or-treating, dress up in a costume, decorate your house, or throw a Halloween party. 🎉 It’s your holiday, celebrate it however you want! Or do something else entirely. Feel good so you can do good. 🕷️🕸️
