It’s National Haiku Poetry Day! Not to be confused with Haiku Day. But really, there’s no reason we can’t write haikus every day.

I hope you’re having a great Sunday. It’s longer days ahead from here on out, my loves. Celebrate by writing a haiku!

The only requirements for a haiku are the syllables you use on each line. The first line is 5, the next is 7, and the last is 5. You can repeat this as many times as you’d like to create multiple stanzas, but you really only have to do one set!

I made some artwork,
but it was just some balloons.
And I still liked it.
