How to Choose Everyday Gold Jewelry That Feels Like You

by Uncustomary | Jul 10, 2026 | How To

The most meaningful jewelry is usually not the piece you buy for one big occasion. It is the small thing you reach for on a regular Tuesday: studs you rarely take out, a slim chain you forget you are wearing, or a ring you touch when thinking. Meaning grows through...

I'm going to share a little trick with you I use i I'm going to share a little trick with you I use in coaching... 🤐

When you become aware of one of those silly, stupid, nutso thoughts your brain has (and is being VERY convincing about, so you start to believe), I want you to roleplay as an attorney. 👩‍⚖️

So maybe your brain is tricking you into believing 🤔 "you always fail", "there's never any point in trying", or "you're so ugly"...

Try to argue against the thought as if you're cross examining it. ⤵️

💯 "Oh REALLY? Well, would you say that's objectively true 100% of the time?"
📐 "Could you make the argument that this isn't grounded in something measurable?"
👥 "You're telling the jury that you have NEVER heard the opposite?"
📁 "I submit to you, Exhibit A: where the defendant actually did accomplish her goal."
🔮 "You aren't a mind reader, correct? So you are asking this court to accept your guess as a matter of fact?""
👩‍⚖️"YOUR HONOR, HERESAY!"
👭 "If a friend came to you with this exact same situation, you wouldn't use this harsh tone with them, would you? So why is your testimony so heavily biased?"
🎭 "So your entire argument rests purely on an emotional feeling, rather than documented fact?"
⚖️ "Objection. Speculation! Move to strike!"

Try it out. I've seen wonders with cognitive reframing. If you want help, apply for my mentorship to work with me one on one. 📎👩‍💻website

expression, creativity, communication, ideas, play, words, messages + being heard.

It's not just what turns me on. Well, it is. But it's mostly what makes me feel ALIVE? Magnetically, acutely alive.

The answer, in part is: say it. name it. write it. communicate it.

I believe the best art is detailed and honest. And that's what I can promise you this will be. 😅

🧮 The truly statistical improbable thing is that after an improbable amount of evidence that life can be absolutely fucking brutal... I still have hope. 🙏

If you're someone who also feels like their life has been a polycrisis, you're not alone. 😵‍💫

I want you to know that no matter what your life has been like, it doesn't have to end you. ☔
