It’s been a while since I’ve shared what’s been going in my art journal. I’ve since moved onto a new book that I received for backing a Kickstarter a while back. It’s called a Da Vinci Notebook, and its pages are made entirely of stone. I wanted to try it out since it was a completely blank book– no lines, no cover– and I actually really ended up liking it. The pages are super strong and smooth. I’m liking pasting my clippings into it.

I’ve been into the ideas of things I’ve never done lately. Like pet a hedgehog or swallowed a knife. It’s interesting how there are things in life we’ve already done, things we’re dying to do, things we’d probably try if given the opportunity, and things we’ll never do. That’s life in a nutshell, man.

What have you never done?

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that art journaling is still a part of my life, even if I’m not posting evidence every week. It’s still a great medium to work in, and I’m glad for anyone who participates in it as a form of expression or as a hobby in general.

Go out and sing your heartsong today, baby girl. Just like this guy.
