I want to show you how I celebrated last year… I had some friends over for celebrating one of the best holidays Parks and Recreation ever came up with, all about the babes! 📸PHOTOBOOTH📸 I set up the backdrop with a pink curtain and a balloon garland. I went through all my props and picked out all the pink, red, and white ones I thought would be fun. There was a selfie ring light set up and everyone left with a Polaroid! 🎴GAMES🎴 I obtained an old school copy of Girl Talk from the 90’s. I couldn’t believe I was the only one who had ever played (this was a staple at every sleepover I attended during elementary/middle school). It’s essentially truth or dare with a couple more twists. My favorite part was when we had to call a cute guy and sing to him. We left April’s husband a voicemail of us singing Lil Jon’s “Get Low”. We also played Famous Women Bingo where we got to learn facts about famous women throughout history. Julia won! ✂️CRAFTING/JOURNALING✂️ I had hundreds of V day stationery and craft supplies for us to sit down and create at the table together. It was very sweet. 🎁GOODY BAGS🎁 Everyone left with a 💓 Rhodonite crystal 💓 Dark chocolate 💓 Friendship bracelet 💓 Burt’s Bees ChapStick 💓 Friendship bracelet 💓 Sticker 💓 Face mask 💓 Tulip 🍓SNACKS🍓 I had out blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, yogurt pretzels, popcorn, meats, cheese, crackers, pink cupcakes, and Heather brought cornbread! We had some champagne/sparkly 🥂 drinks with raspberries inside for a toast! 😍MORE😍 There was also a temporary tattoo 😽 station (but turns out that was mostly just for me). I sent out postcards 💌 to everyone who attended as a memento. I think this was a great way to spend 3 hours on a Saturday. This is ultimately my new favorite kind of party. 🥳 An afternoon where we have time to get ready in the morning and time to do something else later if we want to. I had a great time, and I’m so grateful for these babes for coming and participating in life! 👭 #GalentinesDay #WomenSupportingWomen #MerrimentMaking #UncustomaryCelebrations

Matt had never seen them before. I much prefer this type to the new clusters.
