Kicking off the Christmas season with the Grinch 💚 Kicking off the Christmas season with the Grinch 💚Musical at the Hippodrome!

Desmond and I got dressed up as the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who for opening night to see the classic Seuss story. 🎅 @grinchmusical

It’s super fun, silly, and stays true to the original, with fun plays! 🎁

There’s wonderful cartoonish costumes and props, physicality, and lighting! Plus, audience interaction and it’s only 90 minutes! 🪀

🎭 Check it out while it’s in town at @hippodromebway

Thanks to April for some props to complete our outfits! 🎄

🍗 Ideas For What To Do On Thanksgiving If You’re A 🍗 Ideas For What To Do On Thanksgiving If You’re Alone/ 🍁 Don’t Like The Holiday

Holidays can be hard. Here are some ideas for what to do: ⤵️

🍗 Change the name. Turn it into a Thanks-For-Myself Day, The Great Cozying, Pants-Free Day

🌽 Give it a mascot. Dancing spoon?

🍽 Zero rules feast. You don’t need to eat “Thanksgiving food”. Eat whatever you want. A charcuterie board made of candy. Breakfast for dinner. Or just your favorite side. Is it stuffing? It’s stuffing.

🥧 Comfort marathon. Watch fun episodes of your favorite childhood show. May I recommend Boy Meets World? Or marathon Thanksgiving themed episodes.

🍂 Do mini acts of kindness and send joy into the world. You can plan them, make gifts. Text people why you’re grateful for them.

🦃 Make an art journal page or zine about what has saved you and helped you this year. Give yourself some perspective and make a list of what you want to feel by this time next year.

🏈 Record a voice note for yourself. From future or past you. Make a pep talk for yourself.

🍁 Take a wonder walk or drive. Count how many birds you see. Photograph objects shaped like hearts. Talk to squirrels.

🥑 Try one new thing. Shove a mini pumpkin into an avocado.

I love you. 🧡

Out here in the deep
The tick, ticking of hours, lonely

I hear the alarm
I used to hear when she would sleep in my arms

But better sense says...

Hey hey, turn the record over
Hey hey, and I’ll see you on the flip side

There you go, turn the key and engine over

Let her go, let somebody else lay at her feet

Where you used to be
Where you used to be here with me

It breaks my heart how many people in 2025 are sti It breaks my heart how many people in 2025 are still terrified of being themselves.

Afraid of having fun. Playing. Breaking the rules. Looking silly. Being childlike. Sharing what they’re excited about. Refusing to stay in one box. Being consumed by a label.

The reasons vary. Rejection. Abandonment. Being seen. Failing. Succeeding. Responsibility. Discovering the truth.

Ask why. Go all the way to the bottom.

Counter it with logic like you’re arguing a case in court. Pretend it’s someone else’s life. How can you make it make sense that what YOU are afraid of DOESN’T make sense?

What do you need to start to believing that’s different so you can start living the way you WANT!
