❣️ This week’s 11K Community Feature is a li ❣️ This week’s 11K Community Feature is a little different! Part of my mission with 11K is that I want us all to start documenting, sharing, and spreading good news. 📰🌞 📸 You’ll notice the first part of that is documentation. This isn’t just because I wanna see photos. It’s because EVERYONE does. 😉 It’s because we are constantly inundated with negative news, ☹️ and they have imagery to back it up. 🗞️ Visuals are MUCH easier to capture our attention. 📽️ They distract us. So part of WHY I want to include documentation is to help 🟡 A) counteract the negativity 🟣 ****B) give us an equal chance to counteract that negativity WITH visuals 🟢 C) help us train ourselves TO document things not just FOR points A + B, but for reconditioning ourselves to believe that documenting “small” acts of good news IS worth it! 👍 That all being said, since I started the 11K Project, I have received a TON of submissions that didn’t include media. 🗳️ But I want to make sure that they are getting recognized as well! ✅ Because as MUCH as what I said DOES matter and IS true, these things ARE still happening (AND SO MUCH MORE THAT YOU AREN’T SUBMITTING!!) so every once in a while I’m going to share some non-media submissions. 🤩 Here’s a shout out to some those people. 🙌 And don’t forget to ask yourself, 🤔 what was a way that YOU created joy, fun, or kindness recently? So I wanna share some with you! 👇 🩷April wrote me a thank you note 🧡 Dad lent us his car for Matt to commute 💛 Matt’s work let him take off work multiple days to move 💚 Francine + Aquib understood when I needed to cut their hours 💙 April + Sean offered to lend me their truck during the move even though I didn’t end up needing to use it 💜 Be More Good News shared my Bubble Parade 🩷 The wasp remover guy treated the mini wasp nest on our property even though he wasn’t authorized to do it 🧡 Sheri, Krista, Paige, and Susannah came to my Operation Merriment event 💛 Caroline gave me a shout out online about how she appreciated how open minded I am 💚 Matt brought me home flowers and chocolate 💙 My realtor, Jennie, found us a home and didn’t charge us her fee 💜 Our new landlord fixed our front door by himself without a second question 🩷 Matt moved everything heavy I’ve asked him to and unpacked things that aren’t his just because he loves me 🧡 A representative at the bank cleared a flagged check for me 💛 Alicia made me a balloon installation 💚 April lent me her space heater 💙 Glenda sent me donation for the bubble parade 💜 People shared my Bubble Parade event on their social media feeds and promoted it on their platforms/press It’s a bit backlogged, so it started from August, but I’ll catch up!
