I made a whole episode about the steps I use and shared pictures and processes! 📽️🎙️

Do you do anything to look back on the past year? ⤵️

I have this workbook I made over a decade ago. I s I have this workbook I made over a decade ago. I sit down and I flip through my 🔸phone’s notepad, 🔸photos, 🔸screenshots, 🔸playlists, 🔸happy journals, 🔸everything...

And what ends up happening every 👏 year 👏 is I end up feeling better about the year than I went in feeling about it.

It feels fuller and more accomplished. More alive and it boosts my self-esteem.

This year (for the record) fckingscked for me. I didn’t get to do SO many things I wanted to do. The level of tragedy and pain is beyond belief.

BUT! when I sat down with my workbook, I looked back at my lists and I was like — oh hey! It clearly wasn’t all bad!!

It’s not toxic positivity. Frankly, it’s necessary. Especially on years like this.

Cuz if you would have asked me how this year was I would have laughed in your face.

But now I get to remember all the good things.
It’s a counter balance.

If you wanna get the workbook I’ve been using for over a decade plus 30 other resources for ninety-eight percentttt off you can

Happy Candy Cane Day! ❤️🤍 Candy canes originated Happy Candy Cane Day! ❤️🤍

Candy canes originated in Germany in the 1600s as straight sugar sticks that got bent into shepherds crooks because a choir master wanted them to represent the nativity scene and handed them out to the kids during the Christmas church service to keep them quiet. 🤫

They got popular in America in the mid 1800s when a German immigrant brought them over and used them as 🎄 tree decorations!

We didn’t get the traditional 🍬 peppermint flavor as the standard until the 1900s. They made a machine in 1921 that could automate the flavor!

Candy Cane Day 🗓️ was instituted the day after Christmas as a way to promote using up any leftovers.

Now we have so many flavors. Some are crazy like bacon, pickle, and jalapeño! 🥓🥒🌶️

I like the starburst ones. 🌈

Which are what I handed out 🎁 along with cute notes 🔖 attached at the Kennedy Kreiger Festival Of Trees for my 🎈 11K Acts Of Merriment Project!
