Hello gorgeous! Checking in to say hey and I’m sorry I’ve been so busy. That apology is also to myself because I have been very bad at scheduling Me Time. This week in particular. I actually hurt my lower back, like pulled a muscle or something, for the first time in my adult life and damnnnn I get why back pain is such a huge deal for real. Not that I ever doubted it, you just never really know something till you get to experience it first hand. That plus installing street art for a festival on Saturday with April and the Mother’s Day rush at the flower shop… I’ve barely had time to wash my hair, let alone write a decent blog post. I just want to carve our need for sleep in half, is that so hard Goddess Of Circadian Rhythm?!

In terms of updates, Round 13 of the Snail Mail Game Show is now closed. You can sign up, but it will be for Round 14. You still have some time to sign up for an official Uncustomary Babe membership to get May’s special snail mail surprise, though! And I made a page with most of the free things I offer all in one place, so it’s easier for everyone.

Weekly Happiness | Uncustomary

My story to you this week is short, and mostly comes in the form of a letter. I must warn you that the letter contains sexual themes and is not something you’d want to read out loud at work, but I seriously doubt that’s happening anywhere right now. If you’re offended, I warned you.

Anyway, my friend went out of town for a few days and was staying at a hotel and apparently forgot to close her blinds for the entire trip. When she went to leave on the morning of her check out, underneath the door along with the bill was this letter…

Weekly Happiness | Uncustomary

I’m buying her a frame for it.
