What happens when you take a bunch of colorful compliments, a group of kind-hearted humans, and sprinkle in some playful mischief? 💌

Operation Merriment: Compliment Edition was pure magic! 🪩 We gathered at the 📖 beautiful Enoch Pratt Library in Baltimore, wrote out the brightest, boldest compliments we could dream up, and then — well, we didn’t just keep them to ourselves.

We tucked them into books 📚 for future readers to discover, we taped them to street poles 🏙️, left them on windshields 🚗, and even handed them directly to strangers — all while wearing the silliest hats we could find 🎩💖

Every person left with a goody bag, a full heart, and memories of joy that rippled through the city. 🎉

Needing to translate our feelings into simple language is a WONDERFUL practice for 🧠 your brain.

Something I loved was recently, I used this concept to ask a PP member how she would explain empathy to a child. 🚸

Her response: 💭 “When there is a kid in your class sitting alone and it makes you feel sad inside, that could be empathy, especially if you feel like you want to go sit with them. That is empathy and it is a superpower because it will let you help others throughout your life.”
