At the beginning of this year, I discovered a total treasure trove out of complete accident. I was actually traveling to Bethesda to pick up some of my favorite CBD lip balm, and when I drove down the road to get there, we saw a brightly colored mural, so we doubled back, and I’m glad we did!

I’ve loved buttons, trimmings, sequins, fabrics, etc. all my life. I literally spent $80 on buttons at a place called M&J Trimmings in Manhattan. It was radical and irresponsible. I literally cried when I walked into this store. It had been waiting for me.

I had Joe take some video for me, and I hope you enjoy exploring G Street Fabrics the way that I did. They are currently closed due to COVID-19, but you can still shop their website, and keep them in mind for future adventures if you’re in the area. If not, there just might be a fabric place lurking a car trip a way that you didn’t know about if you’re into that sort of thing!

I was blown away when I was in the fabric and floral district in LA, but not everywhere is like that. Sometimes these little treasure troves are all the more special. If you have one, share below!
