I don’t think I’ve ever had a gap in happiness posts like this in the history of my blog. Two months? That’s unprecedented. So are these times. I’m coming back to you, though, and I want to connect with what makes you happy and what makes you grateful because that is how we get through things, that is how we THRIVE.

I kind of left it off before I was leaving for Vortex Fest, which I have yet to write about, or LA in general, and I will. But let’s focus on what’s going on right now. I hope that you’re not just looking for me here, and also following me on Instagram and on Facebook and in my Membership Group which is 50% off right now because I want you all to join and make it accessible to everyone. We all need self-love!

But if you are following me on other parts of the internet, you know I haven’t been completely quiet. I’ve been going on walks, I’ve been drawing with sidewalk chalk, I’ve been making signs, I’ve been blowing bubbles from the bubble machine for the neighbors, I’ve been posting as often as I can on Instagram, going live, and doing a lot of dance videos. I’m also doing stuff behind the scenes like trying to make sure people have good birthdays and are remembered or know if something pops up in the news about their store that they might not know about yet. AND if you were following me on social media, the person I was talking about who was having a very difficult time with intersex issues and not being treated JUST GOT MEDICATION! Good things are happening.

And when I say good things are happening, I mean, the one person I personally knew in another state who had COVID-19 JUST BROKE THEIR FEVER after THREE WEEKS! Yes indeed. I am allowing myself to find good things in this world. And I am allowing myself to be happy in a world that feels so dark. I am allowing myself to feel sad, too. I just don’t want you to feel like you can not express joy during this pandemic because of what’s going on.

If no one got out of bed there would be no nurses or doctors or EMT’s or gas clerks or pharmacists, or grocery employees, or USPS delivery people. I am GLAD that people are getting up and being active and feeling good enough to move on and go out. Not only that, but they are putting their lives at risk for US and for that I am grateful.

Here’s some things you might have missed out on:
