Troll On A Baltimore Bridge

The 90’s weren’t just about awesome music fads. There were also some pretty incredible toys, like Trolls. (I realize that these things were originally made decades ago, but they definitely had a recycled spotlight in the 90’s.) I collected them as a kid, and had a great time rubbing their rhinestone bellybuttons to make wishes.

I decided to dress up as one, once I found this excellent wig online. I had done it once for a work Halloween party, but without a wig. (If you need to do a makeshift version of this, shoving an empty water bottle into your pony tail will work just fine.)

The only other things I wore were pink booty shorts, a tank top that matched my skin as best I could find, and a pink heart I cut out that I stuck over my belly button.

I danced around. In the street, while walking, and with strangers as they walked by.

Where do trolls hang out? Under bridges. But I’m a nice troll, so I decided to hang out on a bridge. In Baltimore. With my friend, April.

I told everyone they could pass, but sometimes I asked questions before I let them. Like “What’s the password?” “What is your quest?”, & “What is your favorite color?” People were good sports in general.

Most people just stared at me, though. I don’t necessarily blame them.

It’s not every day that you see a live troll doll. You can check out a little video footage, too!
