Snail Mail Game Show | Uncustomary

The Snail Mail Game Show took a bit of a hiatus! In the winter, I sent out a TON of envelopes for people who signed up for the next round and only ever got two entries back. That time of year it busy for everyone, and I was hoping to get some trickling entries in later, but it never happened. But enough waiting! Let’s get back to playing the most unique game show on the internet! For Round 12, the participants received a piece of paper with the outline of a pair of glasses and the prompt, “What do you see through your rose-tinted/glitter-covered/rainbow-vision glasses?”

Artist: Mere

I love the swirlyness of the sea and the idea that this is all you can see through the lenses, but who knows what’s surrounding them in real life!?

Artist: Jana

Jana made it really interested and made her vision encompass her entire reality, which is full of animals and nature! She attached a note with her entry that says: “How we relate to nature has a lot to do with where we live, what season it is, what the weather is like on any given day. I find that no matter where I am – I am always looking for nature and wildlife. Through my eyes I can always find beauty in nature and its creations.”

And the winner of Round 12 is… Mere! I will be sending her a prize via snail mail.

There are already people signed up for Round 13! You want in? Get a chance to express yourself creatively and possibly win a prize! Check out the official Snail Mail Game Show page where you can learn about the rules and sign up! And yes, you can sign up for multiple rounds at once, if you feel like paying for a few months all at once! Whatever works for you.
