Happy World Kindness Day! Obviously we should be kind every day, but it’s nice to have little reminders like this to get us back on track. Celebrating kindness is extremely important (to me), and I really hope that you’re able to be aware of incorporating kindness into your life, whether it’s an elaborate Random Act Of Kindness, or simply making sure you don’t splash pedestrians with puddles as you drive past them on rainy days.

Scatter Kindness Like Confetti

Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Kerri, a blog reader who has lived in Baltimore for five years. I had brought some guerrilla art installations to do while we hung out, and she helped me tape up these letters and paper circles to spell out the message “Spread kindness like confetti” on the concrete circle bench you’d recognize in a heartbeat if you frequent Fells Point in Baltimore.

Charlotte came to join us, and snapped some shots of us working. Between my leggings and Kerri’s hair, we make for a pretty vibrant duo, don’t ya think?

It’s not just a good message, it’s a cute backdrop for a photo!

I hope that you will continue to scatter kindness like confetti, so that it gets everywhere. I want you to be picking kindness off your car’s console, your toilet seat, and the inside of your bra the same way I have to pick off confetti and glitter every day. I love you.
