After I participated in Brittany’s Dress The Rainbow challenge, I started noticing colorful walls everywhere. Not that color doesn’t pop out to me on a regular basis, but now it’s like my brain works differently. As my eyes float to colorful buildings, I realized it’s rare for colorful buildings to also have colorful doors. Weird, right? It seems like you either have a colorful building and a boring door, or a colorful door and a boring building.

I decided to go around Baltimore and find a bunch of colorful doors! It took forever. I think I spent a total of nine hours driving up and down streets in my favorite city to find rainbow doors, so I hope you enjoy them!

Today I’m going to share five solid-colored doors in red, pink, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, and purple. I’ve also singled out my favorite from each color! In each section, I’ve included locations for you to find colorful doors if you’re in Baltimore (the second street is the cross street).

During my exploration, I realized certain doors are way easier to find than others. Besides black, white, brown, and wood doors the easiest color to find is blue. After that, in order easiest to most difficult is red, green, purple, teal, yellow, pink, and orange. Of course, these Uncustomary Statistics are based in Baltimore only, but I really didn’t think orange would be so hard to find in Charm City, home of The Orioles! It took forever.
