On my first day of Spring Break, my friend Charlotte offered to buy me some gelato with a gift card she won. I met her and three other friends down in Fells Point (Baltimore) to hang out and take her up on her offer.
The place is called Pitango and the only locations are in DC, Virginia, and Maryland. The only thing I had purchased there before was their hot chocolate which is a very different consistency than most hot chocolate (but definitely delicious!).

You can mix your flavors and I got raspberry and chocolate chip. It was absolutely wonderful.

We ate outside and everyone loved their flavors, but Helen’s (white grapefruit, I think) was the most popular. Everyone said it tasted like cake!
