First of all, if you don’t believe in magick, universal connection, astrology, or whatever that is OKAY.
Second of all, if you just started learning about any of it yesterday, that doesn’t make you less cool, evolved or enlightened.
The idea is that more and more people are recognizing things they might have pushed away their whole lives, and now either feel they can’t deny it, or finally feel there is a support system in place for them to explore their ideas, feelings, beliefs, etc.
I don’t view the original image (at the top of this post) as judgmental because of the actual imagery. The cosmos, glitter, and magick is circulating and making its way from one arm to the other. And make note that both arms are clasped in support and unity.
Last night, at my full moon gathering, I had someone who had denied the existence of things like auras, the effect of the moon, astrology, etc. their whole lives and suddenly started having spiritual/magickal experiences her logical left brain didn’t know how to scientifically deny. I was so happy to see her light up like an enthusiastic child as synchronicity led her to more and more resources to explore her new interests.
Magick is not for everyone, and I get that. I never mean to turn people away with my own practices and celebration, but it’s been a part of me since I was a child and to deny its existence is to deny myself. I figure if you love and accept me, you can accept that part without judgment the same way you can accept my body and weird humor.
That said, there is a reason why more and more people are turning to spirituality in the form of magick, witchcraft, astrology, meditation, mindfulness, activism, tolerance, etc. as we move forward. There is a shift happening, and it’s not just a weird fad.
So if you connect 0% with my posts about chakras and full moon rituals, I am appreciative that you are still here and can reserve your judgment because you see me as a whole person who happens to have different beliefs and practices as you.
