For my third Fun A Day project, I took apart a belt that my friend, Suzie, sent me. The parts of the belt reminded me of scales, and scales remind me of mermaids, so I decided to make a mermaid fin. Accompanied with the fin is a Picasso quote: “Everything you can imagine is real“. I feel like this way of thinking is important, and it goes well with mermaids and majesticness.This installation was done in Mount Vernon, by the Washington memorial.
