Chicken Dance Day | Uncustomary

May 14th is Chicken Dance Day, and I think it’s a fun one to celebrate. In 2014, I put on my chicken nose and walked around downtown Baltimore with the song blasting on my phone, dancing up and down the stairs by the convention center, through crosswalks, and behind strangers. In 2015, Cristen and I went to the park near my house and went to do the dance on the merry-go-round, and while we were dancing two teenage girls came over and joined in! So cool, right? Spread the fun! You can check out the video below!

Last year I got dressed up and did the dance in Patterson Park while Maura documented the moment. This year, I’m running on no sleep and plan on doing the dance as much as possible to keep myself awake while we have one of our monthly photoshoots in the studio.

But don’t worry. If things get really rough, there IS a chicken mask and a fluffy vest in the studio we can wear. I don’t wanna be a chicken, I don’t wanna be a duck, so kiss my butt, na na na na.
