#74 on my 100 Ways To Be Creative list is to decide what should be on a stamp, and then make your own artistamps. Artistamps are just small pieces of artwork that resemble postage that you would have to pay for at the post office.
Mail enthusiasts tend to love postage, especially old unused stamps. Finding a stamp that has an image that really resonates with you is pretty great, but sometimes you have to make your own imagery.
I used sequins, washi tape, and rubber stamps to create a little image that I liked. Then I scanned it into the computer and printed out a bunch. My coworker, Sarah, ran it through the sewing machine (with no thread) to make the edges perforated. So now I can paste them onto my envelopes!
