100 Ways To Be Creative: Design Your Own Flag

#34 on my 100 Ways To Be Creative list is to design your own flag. I did this a long time ago, but wanted to wait to post it until today.. Flag Day! Flag Day is an important holiday. It’s about dancing on train tracks, sticking googly eyes to things, and playing Christmas music on the trumpet. I wish that I could be in Chicago for the Flag Day celebration, but I’m there in spirit.

Anyway, designing your own flag is really easy because it can be anything. I stuck with yellow and shiny rhinestones as my theme.

In a class a few months ago, we talked about flags and what they can represent in our society and in our history.

I sent this paper along with a book about flags to Jes for Flag Day 2013. I hope they have an awesome day.
